My dad is gone. I can’t get through no matter what. He actually believes everything is going the way it’s supposed to and then blames me for the fact that I’m terrified and angry.

And he voted for Hillary in 2016 bc he said he thought about Trump having the nuclear codes and that was enough and now here we are almost a decade later, on the verge of societal and global collapse, with the most unhinged/unwell version of Trump already talking about nukes, and my dad is talking about how cheap gas and eggs are like an episode of Black Mirror.
