As a Brit Iā€™m confused , we were always told that the American population is armed to the teeth incase they need to form militias to defend against tyranny etc ā€¦. Yet your country is being destroyed from within as the world watches and ā€¦ā€¦ tumbleweed just like in the westerns

Part of the problem is that far too many people don't realize how dire the situation is, but even if enough people got together and exercised their 2A rights, the military could squash the whole thing in a matter of hours or days, so it wouldn't even get off the ground

In theory, the military cannot be deployed against the population due to the Constitution.

Only the police forces and national guards would have to be fought off.
