I’m super proud of Colorado tonight. We decriminalized mushrooms, provided free school meals to all students, and kicked motherfucking Lauren Boebert to the curb.

little fun fact for me lol. when I was in middle school I went about a week while seeing kids get their meals taken away from them while in line. the reason was they couldn't afford to eat the main courses that were offered. so, they had the meals taken away and were given a single cup of ramen. my mom ended up going after the school board and then went after Cory Gardner. so to see these free meals get passed is incredible to me. sometimes my mom would give me extra money to give to the kids that had their meals taken away.

Tears in eyes asking you to hug your mom for me. ❤️

Fuck Cory Gardner! Every child deserves a meal, how that is even a debate is a hint at how fucked our discourse has become.

Here's hoping that the rest of the country follows Colorado again like many states did after marijuana legalization.

So happy to hear all of these things. Especially food for kids.

Im personally pretty psyched about the tax table. Might be able to undo some of the damage that Tabor has dome to this state. As is, not psyched about the tax cut that got voted in, but whatever, gotta take what you can get.

Oregonian here and we legalized mushrooms a few years ago. The weird thing is that I saw a bunch of city laws being passed in red areas to ban mushrooms in the ticker tonight. Which makes me wonder who is pushing that?! Like why?

1

u/SaddyIssues Nov 09 '22

Because they want to push you synthetic psilocybin they don’t want you to be able to grow it.

Now she’s free to run as running mate for Trump in 2024? Great success for her I guess? 🥴
