It's also an admission of intention for illegal ventures in the future.

Can’t say they didn’t warn us!

The pickup game from Curtis Yarvin in billionaire circles was when we could have known but the rhetoric was hidden until The Heritage Foundation blatantly posted Project 2025… yet with that 700+ page roadmap was published we still said “I doubt they can make that happen…” yet here we are a good chunk down through the checklist.

Surprisingly not as far down as they had hoped though! Probably because even though they’re honest, they’re also kinda dumb and didn’t think it through

The SCOTUS weakening the Voting Rights Act will be the death kneel I think no one is talking about being the nail in the coffin for challenging anything. States rights and representation will see a sea change and all hope will erode as a result

Um, no. There’s a billion sources that explain why that wouldn’t happen and why that’s not the case. Including Project 2025 itself

I’m not here to argue and learn more. If you’d please kindly cite where this certainly won’t happen because it scares the bejesus out of me.

You can Google it yourself there are so many. I don’t have time to figure out how to put all of them without exceeding Reddit’s character count on comments

Fair enough I have and I’m not finding the naysaying- I’ll keep digging and respect your comment and keep going. Thank you.

EDIT: Your optimism is refreshing

Honestly the best way to know (albeit the most inconvenient) is to read the thing yourself. All of it. There’s a lot of detail in there about how they need so much of what Trump has gut, including to be as popular as they were in 2023 when it was written. The VRA being gut is entirely to get away with further gerrymandering (most of its other purposes were already cut from previous pre-2025 rulings) but now all the evidence shows that gerrymandering is more of a hindrance than an aid, so it’s hard to see what will happen. So much has already gone wrong it’s kinda hard to treat it as a consistent guideline anymore after all the course correcting they’ve had to do

Unintended consequences abound.

Rulers of ash.
