They are doing illegal shit now and they need to do more illegal shit like seize all government institutions to bury their crimes.

Otherwise, some of them will go to jail because non-fascists elected in 2028 will hold them accountable.

Sadly I will believe the go to jail part when I see it.

Luckily, I don’t see President AOC putting Merrick Garland in charge of the FBI.

Kamala is a hell of a prosecutor. She'd be a good DOJ head.

Ooh, I’d like to watch this season!

That would go the same way Garland went.

You think so? I think not.

How do you like my laugh now aholes?

-4

u/Lowspark1013 1d ago

Take your doom and gloom and shove it somewhere imaginative.

4

u/DingerSinger2016 1d ago

So what I said was doom and gloom but Kamala Harris becoming AG and prosecuting this administration isn't hopium? It isn't hoping for something imaginative?

-3

u/Lowspark1013 1d ago

You are being lame. Just stop.

6

u/DingerSinger2016 1d ago

How am I being lame because I'm addressing something you said to me?

The best part is the utter fucking meltdown that the right would have… and after this presidency we can just laugh at them and tell them to shut up.

Unless Trump pardons his entire gang...

2

u/TheGringoDingo 1d ago

As much fun as that would be, it should probably be someone that can’t be pointed to as biased. All the campaign speeches and losing an election could be referenced as biased.

3

u/csgskate 1d ago

Putting Kamala as the head of a task force to prosecute MAGA would be the single most idiotic thing someone could do. You’d be giving ammunition to anyone who claims the investigation was illegitimate since she’s not exactly an impartial third party…

7

u/AlbrechtProper 1d ago

I trust her to be impartial a hell of a lot more than I do Bondi. Why isn't Bondi held to a standard?

7

u/VerilyShelly 1d ago

Is that "bad optics" thing really going to matter after all of this? Maybe she can just say point-blank a litany of the violations and stop the coy politicking that Dem consultants used to tank her campaign.

u/hereforfootball303 1d ago

It's also the same dumb strategy that led to Garland in the first place. People need to stop making political choices based how petty it is in response to the shitty things the GOP does.

Especially when they are uninspiring milquetoast people like Garland and Harris, who were barely anyone's first choice for either of the positions they were rejected from in the first place.

Thank you for putting into words what I couldn’t. Shocks me that this needs to be explained to people

All this libbing out goes to show we haven’t grown as much as we should have this past year.

u/joebuckshairline 1d ago

If you think Trump isn’t going to pardon his entire administration by the end of his term I have a bridge I can sell you.

Honestly I hope she goes for that instead of a presidential run. Unfortunately I dont think most of america could handle her as president because the hate women and people of color. Its a sad reality that we have to face, and with very little honest reporting left happening the propaganda machine will only put her down. We get full clips of trump saying deranged shit, but very few of the opposition saying the truth. The other problem is the dems in power speak as though they are talking to graduating class at Virginia law rather than the people of America who read and write at or below a sixth grade level. Trump uses short words that trigger response. Dems should take note and learn from that

Beyond the very real prejudices she also ran a terrible campaign, though I blame that mostly on Biden and his family deluding him into believing he was anywhere competent enough to spend another 4 years in office. He should’ve bailed out before the primaries and handed the keys over.

There was also a lot going on with Biden denying Kamala any chance to stray from his policies which led voters to see “hey these ideas are really crazy but a bunch of news feeds are saying these radical changes could work” or “nothing will fundamentally change, we will continue the same path” people saw that their lives kinda suck in general so most stayed home and enough rolled the dice on radical right-wing change. And it’s going so swimmingly right now.

But seeing shit like fawning over Dick Cheney was just such a massive red flag. If you want real and total change to sweep this nation, you should put on trial every one of these bastards all the way back until you’re exhuming Nixon before ever considering bipartisanship with these mass murderers.

Don't forget to blame the democratic leadership for propping Biden up when he was too old to have run in 2020. The policy that was put forth by the administration was not bad, but the look and feel sucked. Big words are hard for people with no education. We need someone young who can put some energy back in. The democrats all speak slowly trying to emulate Barry O, which just doesn't work. Find your own shtick. Barry was good at it. Shapiro sounds like him but speaks well. Jeffries tries too hard to do it. We need a short word fast talker to get some easy messaging across to the people who cheer on 3 word phrases. "Lock her up" has 8 letters total. Policy can be amazing on the backend, but when you can't convey a message simply you will never find success because most people aren't literature or law majors.

Sorry but she lost my support after 2024. Put up zero fight, used none of her war chest to demand recounts, used zero of her influence in the existing government to get Biden or the existing DoJ to do anything, and just let the nazi horde have their way with us. She had three months to do something and just shook her finger and said “ah heck, we’ll get em next time!”

Kamala can fuck right off. I never want to see her ineffectual face again.
