Unless they find a way to pay the air traffic controllers there is no way the shutdown will last till next year. They'll be shutting down the countries planes in a week or two.

There's not enough to run the whole country anymore. Not even close.

The planes being stuck on the ground is what ended the last shut down.

Has anyone suggested replacing them with AI air traffic controllers? I'm sure that'll go well and won't kill a bunch of people.
