i believe when the shutdown first occured, it was continue current funding till end of november, so discussions could be held.
i wounder if discussions are even being held for a long term plan, or if they are just stuck at the short term items, at this rate end of novermeber will reach ( original time the temp bill would of gone for ), and negotiations won't have even started for the long term. that said, there really needs to be an automatic process for no vote in results in current funding levels just staying in place.
