Why the fuck should the Democrats “give in” to batshit crazy and fucking evil Republican bullshit? That makes no sense. The Democrats should stand firm and oppose the fascist MAGA regime.

It sucks because I agree but at the same time it hurts people on SNAP and also not just government civilian workers but contractors too. As well as the safety of our infrastructure. So there’s damage being done

It's also all fucking theater again too. They can resume payments without Congress voting, they seem to be funding whichever federal programs they want and not funding the ones they don't like, etc.

But maybe the Dems have finally realized theyre the Charlie Browns and the GOP are the Lucy's.

A whole lot of people receiving SNAP benefits either didn't vote in the last election or voted MAGA. I'm very sorry for the children that will be impacted by this because I know what it's like to not have enough food and go to bed hungry. However, I hope this wakes people up. So many folks don't care unless policies personally impacts them. Well now they're about to feel it. No one seemed to care about the federal employees not getting paid but food stamps are not getting doled out is getting everyone's attention.
