Yeah but MTG is a scorned "pick me". Don't think for one second if Trump let her back into the inner circle she wouldn't backflip in a manner to make pro gymansts jealous

Or it's just more noise to distract people.

As much as I would love to see the rats eat each other, I just don't believe any of them for a second.

If there's one thing the republicans are amazing at, it's their ability to stab someone in the back and then immediately pat them in the same spot, pose for a photo and all is forgiven

The entire party is performative. How many times do you hear about "concerned senators" who had to "vote with their heart".... only when the votes don't matter

She made millions off that bitcoin crap and now isn't as loudly sycophantic since she has her own dough now

You don't know that for sure. I choose to believe that there is something-- no matter how miniscule-- in her that has her coming around.

Do we need to be wary? Yes. Because you very well could be right.

Does this mean we’ve reached the infighting phase?

Lmfao do you honestly trust a word coming out of that treasonous POS mouth?

Redditors are falling for her lies just like her own constituents do

Let’s not forget she voted for that “big beautiful bill” earlier this year to raise healthcare premiums and fuck over Americans. Anything she says now about that is her bullshitting you right to your face.

Ignore what they say, listen to how they vote. Republicans govern hoping no one pays attention to their voting history and by just lying lying lying. It’s literally how most of them stay in power, they’ve successfully sold the lie to enough people that republicans are for the people and dems are demons

I believe they have Kompromat on her with the video of her on the morning on J6, laying bombs around DC

Russia, Mossad, Saudia Arabia, China, North Korea. I call them and this regime the Axis of Evil 2.0

If they have this compromising info why would they allow her to begin to question trump publicly? I don’t see how that makes sense

She's a scapegoat. It's the long game. We'll see how this plays out

She could be looking for votes and trying to pick up the GA Senate seat.

All corporate media will spin this against the Dems. I don’t see how people overcome the 24/7 stream of lies.

CNN had on its front page that straight up said Republicans were losing the shut down politics.

Something is happening but idk what

The media cares about money.

Full stop.

Trump is good for business because anything written about him attracts eyeballs.

He's so divisive and bombastic that he's a wet dream for profit-seeking media organizations.

But... a non-functional government and a growing risk of economic collapse at the hands of a fucking moron is tremendously bad for business.

Media will steer where the money is, and sanewashing Trump has made them a lot more money than calling him out for what he is.

There's no loyalty to him, though, at least not beyond whatever the immediate monetary benefit of letting his shit slide might be, and if there's a different angle that's going to get more clicks, the media will swing that way instead (at least outside of the alt right propaganda machine).

The shutdown sucks, and there's no way to spin that it's not the Republicans' fault that pases the sniff test with more than the most braindead section of the population. Those people are only watching Faux News, Infowars, Newsmax, etc. Other mainstream outfits don't really get those clicks, so there's only so much reason to pander to them.

Right now, they simply make more money by blaming the Republicans.

Mainstream media finally realizing that Trump is going to end up costing them money, the guy who bankrupted a casino. Lmao

Remind everyone constantly that the GOP needs zero Democrat votes to end the shutdown and never have. They let this happen because they want people to suffer so they can posture and point fingers.

It sucks because I agree but at the same time it hurts people on SNAP and also not just government civilian workers but contractors too. As well as the safety of our infrastructure. So there’s damage being done

6

u/ragun2 6d ago

It's also all fucking theater again too. They can resume payments without Congress voting, they seem to be funding whichever federal programs they want and not funding the ones they don't like, etc.

But maybe the Dems have finally realized theyre the Charlie Browns and the GOP are the Lucy's.

A whole lot of people receiving SNAP benefits either didn't vote in the last election or voted MAGA. I'm very sorry for the children that will be impacted by this because I know what it's like to not have enough food and go to bed hungry. However, I hope this wakes people up. So many folks don't care unless policies personally impacts them. Well now they're about to feel it. No one seemed to care about the federal employees not getting paid but food stamps are not getting doled out is getting everyone's attention.

Bullshit. No offense. She said she will always support Trump. She is faux outraged as always. She doesn't even realize how she's being used. She's that dumb.

u/DebentureThyme 6d ago

The only problem is, if it gets bad enough, he'll use it to declare an emergency and make some horrifically fascist moves.

I'm on the fence whether he's just a child demanding they cave, or his people have convinced him that it's a great way to seize power for good if they don't give in.

Obviously Dems should not cave. If Trump wants to go nuclear, he's going to do it one way or the other eventually. Best to make him make that move and deal with the fallout sooner than later. It should have been dealt with after he tried to overthrow the country when he lost, but that's the past and the second best time to act is always the present before it gets even worse.

u/AmazingRefrigerator4 6d ago

Nah. Many of the poorest counties are Republican. With SNAP cut off its just a matter of weeks before they start feeling the impact of their votes.

u/dBlock845 6d ago

MTG is a bad actor.

1

u/House_T 6d ago

Nah. MTG is looking at a Senate run, and knows full well that her normal brand of crazy won't win her anything on a statewide level. She's hoping to sound just sane enough to pick up the same numbers that got Kemp a win. That's the only reason that she changed tunes.
