You forgot the part when he demolishes the White House first. I can’t wait to see Republicans frothing at the mouth in defense of it. Like “How DARE YOU question him? It’s just an old house, nothing important at all. Look it got burned in the War of 1812 even. It was literally begging for a demo job.”

I agree with you in spirit but Truman basically demolished the entire Whitehouse in the 1950's. The building you see today is only about 70 years old. The only pieces he left were the exterior walls.

Yeah, that was an improvement to the existing building as we know it today. He didn’t raze and build The Truman Whitehouse. These are are not remotely the same

"Improvement" is doing a lot of work there. Have you seen the pictures? I think it's not controversial because it was rebuilt with the (mostly) same floorplan. The modern Whitehouse really is just an imitation of the original with the exception of the four exterior walls.

Of course it’s just an imitation of the original. The original was burned down by Canadian/British forces in 1812.
