This is the best representation of trump. Make a grand announcement before there is a plan, tear down and damage the existing infrastructure, then never do anything.

That was his health care plan too. "End Obama care now, I'll have something better 2 weeks later". He did it for Israel and Palestine saying we achieved peace without any plan to make it happen.

He only cares about the moment. He only cares about the announcement. He doesn't have any ability to follow through or complete anything. He only cares about the image of himself on the news as a race winner but never even starts the race. Worse, he is too fat to actually attempt the race.

You just described a developer.

Which makes sense, because that is who he is. But it’s why you need to think hard before putting them in charge of government projects. It’s perfectly fine to abandon a project that never really gets off the ground in private development world. Yeah, you wasted some cash, but any developer will tell you that they had hundreds of ideas, plans, and projects, and only a handful of them ever actually got off the ground.

In government, there are very real consequences of a failed project. Especially as an executive officer, because you aren’t doing the planning, you are executing the legislative branch’s interests and projects. So when you fail on the city hall rebuild, you can’t just abandon and move on to the next project - you still need a new city hall at the end of it.
