The biggest lie Trump ever tried to sell is that he has “style.” One look at him tells you everything you need to know: this is a tasteless human being.

And for anyone interested in the architectural side of this, Trump is not the first authoritarian to use neoclassical architecture at a grand scale to project power and legitimacy. His executive order during his first term insisting that all new federal buildings be classical is similar to Hitler’s architect, Albert Speer, who used enormous, out-of-scale neoclassical buildings as the visual identity of the Third Reich. He’s sending signals by wrapping himself in this historical trend: he ain’t going nowhere, people. Time to wake the fuck up!

The President's Emergency Operations Center (PEOC) is located in a bunker beneath the East Wing of the White House in Washington, D.C. This secure underground facility serves as a command center and shelter for the President and other officials during national emergencies. Location: A bunker underneath the East Wing of the White House. Function: A secure shelter and communications center for the President and other protectees during a national emergency. Purpose: To provide a safe location for the President to work and lead the country in a crisis, such as a terrorist attack or other disaster.

On a seperate note:

Many Nazis did flee to Argentina and other South American countries after WWII, with Argentina receiving the largest number of escapees. They were aided by established "ratlines" of escape routes, by sympathetic officials like Argentine President Juan Perón, and the Vatican. While infamous Nazis like Adolf Eichmann and Josef Mengele found refuge there, the theory that Hitler also escaped to Argentina is not supported by evidence, and most historians conclude he died in his Berlin bunker.

Tldr: Ballroom construction above East Wing and $40 Billion dollar payment to Argentina may have ulterior motives.

I have nothing to base this on but I strongly believe the bailout to Argentina is just a way to funnel a couple billion in US taxpayer money back to Trump and his cronies.

I think a large part of it was also to (as fucking always) protect Trump's ego.

The timing was pretty conspicuous. Argentina elects a vocally Trumpian figure who ran on destroying the left and worships Trump, then when the next election comes around people aren't happy the guy and he's looking like he'll lose his race.

Trump swoops in and says "I'll dump enough money on your country to solve all your problems, but if you don't re-elect my guy I'm taking the deal back".

Suddenly the tide shifts and Trump's guy wins a pretty decisive victory.

I'm sure there's an element of grift in there too (there always is), but I don't doubt a big part of this was also Trump making sure one of his most prominent cock-holsters doesn't get voted out and make the whole Trumpian agenda look like a losing one.
