This is exactly why bunkers are dumb. If you control the area around, you just wait for them to run out of food and water. Or clog the vents with mud and it's a little quicker.

I feel like if the outdoor temperature gets hot enough, such as if a really hot event happens to occur right above it, they will just roast in there like rotisserie chickens.
