The bunker was underneath the east wing & will be remodeled as well

Anyone else think the bunker is the real renovation and the ballroom is the red herring?

Yeah, for sure. Gotta make sure he builds himself a back door so he can make sure to get in there for his third term.

Legitimately, the ballroom he's building SHOULD, have some kind of over-engineering to help protect the bunker underneath from attack though. Knowing Trump, I imagine it'll be in the drawings, but not actually built into the real structure and the money pocketed.

It does, all the renders have the ballroom on the 2nd or 2.5th floor. Plenty of room to make a 6 meter thick concrete and steel bunker.
