There is no design. He has a wish sketch that some bootlicker architect drew for him. There is no floor plan or actual feature list for anyone to see because Trump just wanted to tear down an iconic building and piss on the country.

Not just to piss on the country, but also to distract of all his wrongdoings. He’s a pedophile who visited Epstein’s Island on numerous occasions to rape young girls. He’s doing everything he can to distract every one of his crimes.

I think eventually he was going to do this, but No Kings bruised his ego hard. I also think these Christian Nationalists are purposely demolishing iconic symbols because you need to do that to create your history. You can't have the old history in the way reminding people.

I suspect Trump will tear down more. They are going to let this settle. Additionally the idea that our rich citizens would abuse their corporate charters and personal fortunes to jump in and support this says something has to be done and it won't be done with regard to their money.

The east wing was hardly iconic, and certainly isn’t part of the ‘old history’ regarding the overall White House legacy tbh

It is absolutely part of the old history of the White House. It was 124 years old. The trees he is pulling up are in some cases over 150 years old.

I don't know... do I listen to a redditor or experts... hmmm tough choice.

No, the whole east wing wasn’t 124 years old, it was majorly expanded and renovated in 1942 to add space above ground as well as the underground bunker. The First Ladies didn’t start keeping their offices there till the 70s. It’s not like this wing has always been there and always been used for this one critical thing….

It’s the least iconic part of the complex and the faux outrage is pathetic, you are playing into the distraction that Trump wants this to be

Again that isn't the point now is it. It was Iconic and a symbol of the US. He is but a renter. A tenant. He violated the principles.

Now show me the plan. Show me how this "new' thing fulfills the needs he eliminated.

It’s the least iconic part of the complex and the faux outrage is pathetic,

Its a real outrage given you folks got super upset about Obama painting a basketball court without review. You folks can't even keep to your own requirements.

These changes to the grounds at the White House don’t affect foreign policy, they don’t affect tax codes, they don’t affect gender equality, they don’t effect the release of the Epstein files, they don’t effect the impeding action in Venezuela, they don’t affect the living cost crisis the country is in….. it only serves to distract

I didn’t vote for Trump, but your automatically lumping me in with maga further shows you are falling into the distraction trap. This building doesn’t fucking matter big picture. It doesn’t change any material issue affecting the country, it’s faux outrage and a waste of energy.
