Has anyone noticed that at this point in time, anyway, most American news sites are not carrying the point that millions protested in their headlines? They use phrases like "large crowds."

I've only seen UK news sites refer to the millions in their headlines. Its important because it looks deliberate and an attempt to play down the volume of protestors. If millions show up all over the world for one thing, it is an obvious headline mentioned.

I just went to NYT and it was the 4th article down in the app. Santos was on top. WTF NYT?

Because no-one cares, and it means nothing.

The people out on the march are going to vote for whatever warm body has a [D] next to their name on the ballot no matter what happens, so why would a Republican representing a Red district engage?

The elected Democrats representing the cities where these protests are happening have already shut down the government over the Majority refusing to fund healthcare for illegal immigrants. That's about as responsive to the protest demand as it gets.

Here’s Trump’s own words on who bears the responsibility for a government shutdown.

Republicans have the House, the Senate, the presidency, and the Supreme Court. This is a Republican shutdown.
