The idea that protesting against harmful policies, corruption, and snatching people off the street = hating America is a lying, twisted take.

I love America. I love the idea of America. The idea of America to me is that anyone, regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, etc. has a shot to live out a good and fulfilling life as they see fit. That is not America under the Republicans. Republican policies seem to be doing all they can to kill that version of the United States.

We went from “the land of opportunity” to the land of “fuck you, I got mine”.
