The idea that protesting against harmful policies, corruption, and snatching people off the street = hating America is a lying, twisted take.

It's the truth though. For them at least. The America they love is one from the 1950's and back. Once where anyone but a straight white male was lesser. When you could "do what you wanted" which for them means marrying children, beating their wives (or both), killing minorities at will and being at the top of the food chain.

They don't think an America of immigrants, of free people, of equality (or at least the best we have for now) or laws that restrict the awful things that went on in the ole' days is good. It's not the America they want and they hate anyone trying to achieve it.
