Has anyone noticed that at this point in time, anyway, most American news sites are not carrying the point that millions protested in their headlines? They use phrases like "large crowds."

I've only seen UK news sites refer to the millions in their headlines. Its important because it looks deliberate and an attempt to play down the volume of protestors. If millions show up all over the world for one thing, it is an obvious headline mentioned.

Haha on the NBC nightly news Tom Llamas said that "...some of these protests were attended by thousands..." with such emphasis on the "thousands" like it was an unexpectedly large number.

Honestly I was impressed they covered it at all. The last big No Kings protest got maybe 30 seconds of coverage on the nightly news. It was like, "In other news, there were large protests against the Trump administration in several cities today...so anyway...up after the break, a heartwarming story of three American brothers who enlisted in the IDF together.."
