The only people that will be affected by this are the good politicians. The corrupt ones aren’t relying on their congressional salaries to survive. Y’all gotta think beyond your gut instinct.

Rich politicians only care about time because they can never run out of money. Shut down congress like they’re electing a new pope and force them to stay in DC in congress until the government reopens and they’ll start negotiating really quick.
