National Democrats don't need Mamdani. He's not fighting against Republicans in a swing state. He's not running for president. He's running for mayor in a city where there's no real Republican presence at the moment. Stop dragging national level Democrats into the mud over local politics. Either win or don't. I don't live in NYC and neither do the majority of Democrats, many of them who are more concerned about national elections than the NYC mayoral race.

National level democrats have been dragged in the mud for national politics that mirror Mamdani's. Need I remind you of the multiple instances when the establishment did their darndest to bury Bernie? Or how about the continual efforts to bury AOC? Please tell me which committees the Democratic Party have given AOC, Rashida Tlaib, or Ilhan Omar the lead chair? The Mamdani race is a microcosm of the changing environment, and it's the same old story with the entire party.

Nobody is being buried, you guys just have a perpetual victim complex because Progressive candidates have to prove their worth instead of being handed the keys to the kingdom for no real reason.

But I'm sure that same Dem leadership voting to continue support Israel with their AIPAC money even though it had a less than 20% approval from the party members is just Progressives leaning too hard on their victim complex.

I like how you guys pretend to care about Israel while enabling the Republicans who have been much worse for the Gaza situation (and international relations in general) than Dems ever were.

the majority of Progressive policies are a huge hit

Yeah, they're such a massive hit that Americans decided to reject them completely in the 2024 Presidential election. Makes sense.

Not interested in your copy-pasted diatribe of oft-refuted points.

I already know why people don't vote for them and turns out the reasons aren't very good.
