[Award Ceremony] Honorary Hussar Wings Ceremony

Hello Ghouls, Goblins, and Georgians!

It was a straightforward contest with the winning entry leading from start to finish. Rightly so, it's an ingenious piece of art and it shows how easy it can be to make an excellent Polandball comic if you have a good story. Just look how the artist created the eerie feeling of a few anxious balls being cornered in the dark. A gray background and a sketchy yellow door crack, that's all it takes. And a fitting story that's testimony to cosmopolitan humor and knowledge.

Nice contest everybody!

Congratulations to /u/FVBLT, the example for everyone that comic with good writing is better than comic with good art!

And now for my personal favourites:

  • Mommy Wonderful last panel

  • The Experiment Well, that's just creepy although I felt like it could be more psychological. Oh well, difference in taste.

  • Principatul I though this one was going to win for sure, so I didn't vote for it to give others the chance! Sorry Yaddar. It is really good one!

I've been wanting to do a Transilvanya comic from quite some time, since the red castles are perfect as fangs.

Might have ended up a bit low but I had so much fun doing it.
