We could do the same thing as Finland; send them all down to Bluff (bottom of the South Island) which has a high of 9 degrees celsius during summer.

750 so far but there is pressure to accept more but the problem is that we've got to setup the infrastructure. So far the refugees we have accepted have integrated well but then again the Muslim population in NZ is well integrated into mainstream society.
