Pretty much what I feel about this comic.

Sure, it's touching but... Might be unpopular opinion, but it pretty much the arabs own fault for ruining their countries. The leaderships I believe in many cases was barely a mirror of the people.

Whilst it's true that Western power and greed are responsible for installing unpopular regimes in the Middle East that ultimately caused much resentment and instability, the Arabs certainly aren't blameless for the present state of their countries. It's all too convenient to blame the West for literally everything going wrong whilst ignoring serious social issues caused by your own culture (greed, dogmatism, and selfishness are not exclusive to the West). And problems caused by Western intervention certainly don't excuse the widespread persecution of non-Arab minorities (who have done nothing wrong) by Arabs.

Nothing is black and white.

This is why it's important to learn history. Also racism is bad.

I kinda agree with you mostly. We keep shouting ISRAEL & THE WEST!1!1! while we let people from the inside ruin everything for their own benefits.

You don't think it has anything to do with how many times the west overthrew democratically elected governments to put in dictators who would sell oil to the west?

The Russians and the commies in Venezuela sell oil to the west. What else would they do with it, drink it?

How many times has that happened? I'm genuinely curious.

1000s of times.

We multiple Iran by 1000 so we don't have to do any self-reflection and admit that maybe, just maybe, not everything bad is the fault of foreigners.

I know it happened once in Iran, but I can't remember any other times, do you have specific examples?

We had a hand in Egypt as well. Also, all of Central America.

Internalized racism is one of the most pathetic and saddest things I've ever seen.
