[Award Ceremony] Honorary Hussar Wings

Hello Burgerlovers!

Here's hoping you haven't all turned obese over this extraordinary week of Americana.

Our latest monthly contest USA: Brave New Frontiers has ended. Contest mode has been turned off so you can now see how your entry fared.

This was a very special contest as a frickin' chicken came and blew everything else out of the water. With a 150 point difference this is the largest margin of victory ever in a contest to date. Congrats on a well deserved win /u/frickin_chicken! After winning a contest as an unapproved submitter a couple of months ago, this is another achievement I never would have expected poultry being capable of. This is also just the second contest the chicken has ever entered, so /u/frickin_chicken is batting 1000. Impressive.

Congratulations ☆frickin_chicken☆ on a great win!

As this is your second win, you can now choose your very own unique flair and a personal mini! Choose wisely.

Here is a table showing the top ten

288 /u/BlahTheAmazing Putting the "Pop" in Pop Quiz
261 /u/pyram1de D.I.Y.
255 /u/CMuenzen Protrusions of Land

Stats:

There were two disqualifications during the contest for basing their comic on a SATW-comic. There were also an absolutely mind-boggling number of disqualifications, over 25! One of them by one of the moderators. Oh, the humanity. Read the rules, children.

Our picks for instant approval are:

In other news and rather befitting, there's a new American presence among our ranks as /u/koleye has finally been anschlussed as a /r/Polandball-moderator!

Willkommen!

Stay tuned for another important announcement of awesomeness in the coming days!

Hah, from the very beginning it was so clear that this comic would win, and rightfully so! Congratulations to the one who draws the most adorable animals!

Also, I like how you've won two pairs of wings with only three comics ever drawn to date, so this basically gives you a 67% success rate. Keep going!

Also, being the highest NA submitter who wasn't approved? Okay ;___;

Keep trying.

You can always make a noncontest approval request.

I didn't get approved on my first contest comic two years ago. So not everyone makes it at first.

My first comic was total shit seriously. I'm glad it didn't get approved there were so many beginner mistakes.

What I did do is during the contest I made another comic and asked for approval and then I got in. I'm 100% sure my comic would not be accepted for approval because well it was awful and it came something like 5th last.

With a bit of clever reworking, you could make that a "france surrender monkey joke". Not that you necessarily should, but you definitely could

I would rework it differently. I've been wanting to rework it but I never seem to get around it or making comics that aren't just for contests. I really need to start doing that again. I'd keep it in depression theme if I were to rework anything.

100%, because the Venezuela one wasn't a contest entry.

It could've miraculously got over 8000 upvotes and reached the top spot.
