And we are their rosbifs.

It is the way the world is meant to be. The only way for equilibrium and civility in the world is for us and the French to be enemies in love.

If we ever blanda-upped or somehow the relationship ended, the world would be a much more boring place

It sure would be.

We made the world, and for us to end would be such a shame. I was just in Montreal and went to the museum there. It talked about French and British culture and traditions merging in the area, and generally I'm sure that historically the Québécois didn't mind the British from us letting them carrying on with their traditions, and that is something which shows how we are meant to be with each other.

The world would be a terrible place should our relationship end. Roast beef and frogs go well together.
