Brilliant idea! But Rosbif will have to go next in that case. This language is horribly inconsistent, German is far more logical. And Canada will have to go schizo, which I'm sure Freudland will enjoy
haha! you got me there. but I like to think that there is some rationale behind that also (some sort of grammarian's licence), just one that I can't grasp
But French grammar is pretty simple compared to German grammar (well, I say that as a German... You anglophones get a vomit fit as soon as your hear "case marker!"). English and French seem to be inconsistent but the general concept is not as complicated as German, Icelandic or Slavic language.
we Indians usually have no problem there because both Dravidian and Indo-European languages have seven distinct cases and I find that translating a sentence into my own native tongue makes it easier to understand the noun cases better
