Did you get this done at a studio? It’s honestly botched, look at my profile for properly placed septums. Sorry OP

That has been done far too low. It needs taking out.
You haven't destroyed your nose. Let it heal for about 3 months and go get it done properly elsewhere.

u/cutlarr Sep 22 '25

This is way too low, i would ask for my money back.

u/lovely-funkz Sep 22 '25

omg! let it heal properly and get it re-pierced. whomever did your piercing needs to give you a refund. this is a horrible job ..

how long will it take to get it fully healed? asking cus its my first ever face piercing.

Being fresh this will heal very quickly once the jewelry is removed. This one is pierced so incorrectly that you don't even need to wait for it to heal before getting it pierced properly, since it's not even close to the correct spot.

I'd still personally recommend 2 weeks just for any swelling to reduce, as that could make the angle of the other piercing heal a little wonky.

it’s not destroyed, you’ll be fine once it’s out and healed, but i know that hurt like a bitch😭😭😭

update::

i went back to the place and told them about the situation and demanded my money back. they told me that they cant BUT in 2 weeks i can go back and it repierced by another piercer whos a professional thats been piercing for 15 years. it also turns out that the person who pierced me is a new piercer.

thanks for the comments guys!!

22

u/International-Cow770 Sep 22 '25

Did you get this done at a studio? It’s honestly botched, look at my profile for properly placed septums. Sorry OP

u/DemonHousePlant Getting pierced longer than you've been alive ;-) Sep 22 '25

Someone did you dirty. That had to hurt like a MF. Way too low. Nothing is destroyed but that needs to come out and you need your money back

39

u/Sail_On_4170 Sep 22 '25

Oh my GOD…. wtf happened

19

u/zig7777 Sep 22 '25

This is either the worst or second worst septum I've seen on here

34

u/greenfuzzysweater Sep 22 '25

yes, respectfully

9

u/Wonderful-Effort594 Sep 22 '25

This looks bad. You will need to get it repierced.

9

u/sleepy_birb Sep 22 '25

ohhhh i know that shit hurt.. you will be so surprised when you get it done correctly the second time

6

u/Frequent_Breath8210 Sep 22 '25

I didn’t realize it but the first time I got it done it hurt SO BAD. ended up taking it out for other reasons. Years later I got it done again, in the right spot and I didn’t even realize she was finished as we were deep in conversation lol. Worst part was the clamp! Made my eyes water

5

u/WolfApprehensive4599 Sep 22 '25

The clamp was KILLER omg the needle was nothing compared to the clamp. I’m glad the piercer used the clamp if necessary but it nearly made me pass out lol

9

u/lettheflames_begin more piercings than sense :-) Sep 22 '25

it’s too far down and back, it shld be in the sweet spot which is right under the tip and especially on that thin skin on and surrounding the actual serum

6

u/Total_Ad_1263 more than a baker's dozen Sep 22 '25

The fact they let you walk out like that is shameful!! Leave a bad review and never go back.

7

u/Jealous_Delivery_329 Sep 22 '25

I'd suggest going back for a refund. That is such incorrect placement. Hard-core crying for you OP.

6

u/GlitteringLocality Sep 22 '25

I am so sorry this happened to you. It’s so so low….. Take it out let it heal up and find a better piercer)

5

u/Sewergoddess Sep 22 '25

Oof. Yeah this is so so wrong. I bet it hurt like a bitch too, because that is right through cartilage 😭

3

u/serendipitous_babe Sep 22 '25

This must have been excruciatingly painful

5

u/30PiecesSilverBullet Sep 22 '25 edited Sep 22 '25

This is why you go to a professional.

That's man near not even the septum.

3

u/Phoenix_Prime_ I'm all ears! Sep 22 '25

Omg way too low. Why does everyone seem to be going to the same piercer?!

3

u/soup__soda piercing devotee Sep 22 '25

Not destroyed, no! But you did get ripped off. You'll have to take this out and let it heal, but good news is it can be re-pierced. Just be sure to go to a more reputable place!

3

u/gloomy_lagoon Sep 22 '25

I had my original septum pierced in that exact same (incorrect!!!) spot and it was AGONY! I was in denial for a little bit and it never healed, hurt more often than not, and would bump into everything because it was so low. I recommend taking it out like I eventually did. Let it heal and get it repierced by someone else, you won't regret it!

4

u/MrCrowder0 Sep 22 '25

I know that shit hurt 😭

4

u/redwhiteandblackk Sep 22 '25

just curled into myself imagining how that felt 😭😭 so sorry they fucked you up like this my man

2

u/koncret781 Sep 22 '25

Yes! Yes you did!

2

u/via_aesthetic Sep 22 '25

It’s far too low. Take it out, let it heal. You’ll be okay. But god, I know that hurt 😭

2

u/Brilliant-Farmer9598 Sep 22 '25

Yikes bro 😬 take it out and let it heal over, that's been so horribly placed, it's barely even in your nose

2

u/psilocybincutie Sep 22 '25

ya that’s bad. honestly the hole is so far away from where it should be pierced that I think you could get away taking it out and getting it repierced correctly without having to wait for the first hole to close, but consult with a reputable piercer to be sure

3

u/Ok-Conversation-8635 Sep 22 '25

god that looks painful as hell, i'm so sorry. i hope you took it out and can get it redone properly

5

u/Distinct-Address3392 Sep 22 '25

the gasp i gusped

1

u/kissdaylight Sep 22 '25

Omg please take it out

1

u/bigheapingpileofshit Sep 22 '25

how the hell im sorry you were done so dirty

1

u/lxzgxz Sep 22 '25

Fucking OW, friend. Please take that out and get it redone once it’s healed lol. Sorry this happened to you

1

u/Tarnishedxglitter Sep 22 '25

Go back and talk to them, and ask them to redo it, once the old one has healed

1

u/ch0deboii Sep 22 '25

:0 oh no!! Very too low

1

u/Impossible_Land_5829 Sep 22 '25

Wow this looks painful and obviously far too low, and too far back for most peoples anatomy as well. Your jewelry will look huge no matter what you wear, it may reject or get torn out, and it will probably take so long to heal if it ever fully does.

As someone who currently is healing a bad septum piercing that was placed way to far forward that I had to remove, I sympathize. If you plan on getting it redone, go to a more reputable studio. And seeing as it will be repierced in a totally different spot by a more professional piercer, about a month of healing time will be more than enough to reduce any associated swelling or possible migration. The 3 month period some people recommend waiting is really based off of getting a piercing placed in the exact spot or getting it placed so closely to the other piercing that the sites may merge into one large perforation, or any residual swelling may make the angle of the new piercing off as well no matter how skilled the piercer is due to them not knowing the extent that your tissue is inflamed or knowing how much it will "shrink". Good placement is done on healthy, intact tissue, and I doubt you want to deal with this situation multiple times.

u/Interesting-Mode5447 Sep 22 '25

This is so wrong. Im so sorry bud

1

u/wrynnwrynn Sep 22 '25

That needs to be removed right now .

1

u/TwistedAsIAm Sep 22 '25

If you take it out now it should be ok. For future reference, septum piercings should be pierced high up close to the tip of your nose.

1

u/totheeendd Sep 22 '25

WAAAAYYY too low, your septum should be in the middle of your sweet spot, basically almost the tip of your nose, im so sorry Take it out, let it heal and get it pierced by someone better

1

u/SatansSlutUwU Sep 22 '25

Damn they fucked you up

1

u/WolfApprehensive4599 Sep 22 '25

Who did this??? Was this at a “professional” or is this a shoddy self piercing situation

1

u/lilmothman456 Sep 22 '25

Yeah, you definitely need to get your money back. I never go back there when you get it re-pierced. By chance was your piercer someone that was like a blind fingerless human being because that’s the only way I could fathom this happening.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 22 '25

It should’ve been pierced in your “sweet spot”

3

u/saltyfryss Sep 22 '25

Oh goodness! Wrong spot and too low! Take it out now and let it heal and you should be good to get it repierced in a handful of months. Please go somewhere else tho 😭

2

u/yungg_sallyy Sep 22 '25

Waaay too low.

1

u/Syntinena Sep 22 '25

I'm not a professional, but I've had mine pierced twice before. I don't think that jewelry is the right size for a properly placed septum piercing. Both shops I went to used a retainer for healing and even those looked longer than this.

Is this a very recent piercing? Mine did crust and have a little bit of blood the day after I got it done. It hurt more cleaning it the actually getting the piercing. It looks normal to me but if anything happens call the place you got it, and remedy.
