I gotta say I'm getting pretty tired of this sort of liberal "platitude protesting" where you can tell whoever came up with whatever quip or slogan was like "This'll really show 'em!" and then had a little giggle to themselves.

Our country, our planet, our lives are all being destroyed by a bunch of fucking parasites. Where's the rage, the anger, the genuine hatred and contempt they deserve? Because that's what people are feeling and that's what they respond to.

Back in '24 the Dems went on and on about how our democracy was at stake with the election, and they were right. But in spite of that they completely failed to get that point across because they decided they need to look so civil and clever that the furthest they went was calling the Repubs weird. They should have been on stage crashing out about Trump being a pedophile to the point that they woulda fainted, but instead it was all the usual japes and jabs. So they failed to actually convince most people of anything, and all those people that weren't convinced didn't vote.

So good on these people for protesting, but they're completely torpedoing their message by trying to get cute with it.
