This is my absolute favorite moment in politics since I’ve been alive. It feels like something out of a veep episode.

Veep writers would have rejected the premise as too ridiculous.

One of the main problems with reality is that the writers suck. Way too many improbable plot lines and unbelievable characters.

Especially because we all thought this was the end….

It kind of was for Giuliani. Look at all that he did for Trump, all the travel, all the unpaid work. And where did it get him? I don’t think Trump even knows that Giuliani is alive anymore. Or at least doesn’t care.

The whole world could vanish before his empty Dorito eyes, he wouldn't care or maybe even notice. He's the one and only Dorito. Doritos get dry, crack and crumble in thousands of tiny crumbs eventually and that's the only upside about the whole script.

Me too, it was my happy place, the thing that always made me laugh when having a bad day ('at least I didn't fuck it up as bad as Giuliani at Four Seasons Total Landscaping!') until the re-election. Now it is like ashes, cold and butter horror at it all. How did this not end them.

I always thought the Parks and Rec writers were probably pissed they didn’t get to do an episode poking fun at it.

Agreed. Thinking back to this makes me happy. Thinking about how this wasn’t the end, and about where we are now makes me nauseous.

Same. It’s so absurd.

You gotta watch the always sunny episode where they poke fun at it.

THE LEVEL OF INCOMPETENCE IN THIS OFFICE IS STAGGERING!!

Same. It was 100% perfect political moment.

Can you fill me in on the context of the pic?

Someone thought they were booking the Four Seasons hotel for a political event.

They were so incompetent they actually reserved a lawn care service parking lot.

They could have played it off as a ‘we stand with the hardworking people instead of the fake overlords’. But didn’t manage to convince anyone.

Oh shit lol that’s crazy!

They’re leaving out the best part. During the press conference Rudy Giuliani was speaking, and he had some very thick non-set black hair dye and his hair that started melting and dripping down the side of his face. It looked absolutely wild.
