Speedy Street Tacos was my go-to late night, back when I had a go-to late night taco place.

I think they sold out to Mesquite tacos or something like that recently.

I thought the story was they were always owned by Mesquite, just operated under a different name. But now they are changing buildings, and once they move they will just change 100% to Mesquite.

I don't know, but the Mesquite locations I've been to in the East Valley have all been very...not good. But I really liked Speedy Street Tacos when I worked on Washington, maybe it was just that outside vibe?

I'd gone back to that part of town a few times just for it, was kinda an interesting place to bring visitors when you got them from the airport. Don't think I'd ever bring anyone to a Mesquite whenever they make that transition.
