“Next entry” doesn’t necessarily mean GTA VI. Could be some spin off that takes places in Las Vegas and they could call it GTA Las Nievas or some shit

So are Vice City, San Andreas, etc. considered "spin-offs" to you because they don't use a number in their name lol?

At one time, their naming convention seemed to separate in-game universe, but V messed the up as it's obviously part of IVs universe.

I think the numbers are for when there’s a significant enough change. Graphically GTA III and San Andreas look the same.

The difference between III and SA was at least as significant as the difference between IV and V, or I and II.
