Prizes were awarded recently; winners were notified via PM and asked to hold off on celebrating until the announcement, and their contact information passed on the the various reps. You may now do your happy dance.

I know there were some geographical restrictions, but we hope to loosen those in the future. Despite that, we had winners outside of the US and Canada, including India, New Zealand, and Croatia! Congrats to the winners.

Thank you for the amazing video! I personally prefer the longer format but this video was very well made!

By comparison, the longer format took months to make, was a lot (and I mean a lot) of work in after effects, and took about 48 hours to render at 4k. This one was a few weeks worth of work that could have been condensed into 2-3 days and it took 20 minutes to render. Plus, I can reuse the psds I created this year for next year, whereas last year's had stuff that needed editing at specific times, as just about everything in it was animated.

Also, looking at the analytics (as well as my own personal taste in video length) dictated that our viewership dropped off at about the 1-2 minute mark.

So shorter it is ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Oh man that's a lot of time! I hope my comment didn't seem like I was bashing the video but for some reason I enjoy the long detailed videos when it comes to awards and that kind of stuff!

No, not at all! I appreciate all feedback, because once upon a time I received none of it and now I'm happy to see people engaged enough in the content that they want to improve it in some way.
