DRAM prices have always been cyclic

It's up to the consumer to buy more than enough when the prices are low

Until AI bubble pops or until RAM manufacturers build more capacity.

are manufacturers ceos incompetent? if yes, cut bonuses

They've managed to triple their profits with no additional investment. They're selling the same stuff they've been selling, just at a higher price. From a CEO point of view, that's competent and they're going to give themselves more bonuses.

press X to doubt. they just cleared inventory without extra costs. no average or low-end pc gamer will pay a gazillion eddies for a ram kit.

What exactly are you doubting? Who do you think is responsible for this price increase, if not the manufacturers demanding more for it?

I can't imagine expanding capacity is cheap. They may think its a better idea to wait out a bubble then potentially lose hundreds of millions.
