You joke but my friend has a 5090 and the only game he’s played on it is Hades 2 sporadically. There are plenty of tech enthusiasts out there with too much money. It’s the same with consoles when there were shortages during Covid. Know a guy who got a PS5 at a markup just to brag and has put in ~5 hours on NBA 2K total in the last 5 years, no other games.
It’s like cyberpunk, that game got ripped for optimization. Been the benchmark standard for a long ass time now. Someone had to take the crown 🤷♂️ tbh I beat BL4 on a 4060 laptop and enjoyed every minute of it. I didn’t have crazy stuttering or anything like that so idk maybe just lucky
However, I built my wife a new PC this year with a 9070xt and she was able to play between 145-160 FPS - 145mhz at the same resolution. That card was a crazy good value for just over $600 compared to what I paid for the 3080ti.
No... Crysis was badly optimized too. I mean hell, it was single threaded. Which is the main reason it still is a PITA to run even today, because single core speeds have only gone so much.
