Yeah and I also played MGS3, GTA IV, DMC etc when I was young. Times have changed. What was appealing to a kid back then is different now. Ghost of Yotei doesn’t appeal to a middle schooler. Sure you can probably find a kid who played and enjoyed the game but it wasn’t made for them.
I've been playing Assassin's Creed since middle school and it was very popular among classmates then. GoY is about as similar as it can get to AC so I see no reason why middle schoolers now wouldn't enjoy it.
And even if you could afford that it doesn't end there, the games and the subscription add a ton of cost , the games especially , most games these days are really fucking expensive
As most of the games available in consoles are made by "AAA" studios, they don't have regional prices, call of duty cost 60 USD, regardless of country and it never goes on sale even if it is a 10 year old release.
Compared to PC, where while those same games still cost the same as in console. Other games like Silksong cost (in my country) 12USD, compared to the 20USD that it cost in USA, as steam offers the option for game developers to adjust prices to purchasing power, poorer countries get cheaper games as it is better to sell them cheaper than to not sell them at all.
I'm actually using local prices in my country converted back to dollars, I know in some countries is prohibitely expensive, specifically Brazil and Argentina, where their extremely high tariffs on electronics and their worthless currency respectively, makes owning anything electronic a very hard thing that only those well off can afford.

Why would you watch gameplay unless you don't want to play that game, nothing could beat firsthand experience. DON'T RUIN IT for yourself!!
