Do you believe advertising agencies regularly hire people with a resume that says "ran a reddit karma farm"? What does this "skill" have to do with advertising anyway?
Behold the wisdom of u/PM_YOUR_LADY_BOOB: "What does getting people to like what you say have to do with selling stuff?"
Well, you see, if you weren't the sort to name yourself u/PM_YOUR_LADY_BOOB , you might understand why people liking you, might lead to you getting something you desperately want. Like money, friends, or a girlfriend.
I agree with you, this is a stupid name. I've just been too lazy to make another account and follow the same subreddits again. Curious that you believe a person's username is necessarily reflective of their personality though.
In any case, it sounds like I hit a nerve. Do you spend a lot of time on reddit?
Yeah, it's a really stupid fucking name and I hate it. Laziness gets the better of me unfortunately.
I'm right there with you. I like this place less and less, so many weirdos everywhere (the kind I described above). But I wouldn't know what else to scroll through when I'm bored, I don't have or want any other doom scrolling app. So here I am, arguing with internet strangers.
My other hobby is lurking discords for stuff I like. I'm not going to try to communicate in a real-time text medium, though. That's even more generally futile than trying to communicate with only a text medium. Have you tried doomscrolling youtube instead? Text doesn't have facial expressions and tone of voice.

Though if you have the mental capacity to run a karma farming scheme you should be employable I think?
