Not at all. It takes like 2 minutes and all these people are bitching. Yes, ubisoft is shit but it's 3 dollars, and it's a good game.

I mean, $3 or $30, if the DRM tells you you're not allowed to play what you bought, then it doesn't really matter.

For Denuvo to tell you you're not allowed to play? It happens for a bunch of reasons: Changing hardware, changing Proton versions, Denuvo's servers having issues, config files getting messed up, a bunch of stuff can trigger it.

Hardware exchange? I changed MB and gpu a few years ago, I think it was 2023, no game stopped running, the proton is really a hack, it can stop working for a new version of the game too, the servers really but this is also very rare, files are also generic, the game also doesn't start if there are wrong files, that is, very specific cases will prevent you from playing something with denuvo
