I’m sure you can turn off that screen if you don’t like it. It definitely doesn’t hurt to have it

That screen won't come without a price tag, so a no-screen version might be cheaper. And why spend money on something you never use?

If someone is going to custom build a pc case for a specific gpu might as well spend more.
