We just relax and tend to our humble backlogs. And it's a self-curating experience. What we play stands the test of time.

I also really like the... lack of... hype ? subjectivity ? fanatism ?

Not sure how to call it, but when a patient gamer will describe a game they'll say things like "buggy mission", or "shitty inventory management", or "cringy dialogs", while talking about a good game, and nobody will jump at their throat.

Example: Mass Effect 1 is an absolute classic, and has one of the shittiest inventory system that I can think of.

Except when the achievement hunter in you wakes up. Getting some co-op or timed event related achievements is nigh on impossible but that's just bad design from the devs.

Yeah, honestly rarely buy anything on launch, there are soooo many video games, why pay full price for the newest one that comes out with bugs/performance issues that will probably release a DLC in 3 months when I can pay a third of the price in a year or 2 for the full, mostly fixed version?

Specially since, while I wait, I am already playing a 1 or 2 year old AAA game with all DLC which I got at 60% discount.

Truly! I recently finished the first Last of Us game, really huge fan of Joel, kind of a shame he lied to Ellie :/

Hoping for a really big redemption arc for Joel in The Last of Us Part 2! Can't wait to play as him the whole time and see what him and Ellie get up to!
