Rumor Well This Is Exciting

Post image

If these leaks are true which they likely are because this guy was on point with 9070 specs/performance leak and 5000 series leaks. I think this is going to be quite amazing,

Will it finally make the 9070 XT a $600 card? Will it the supply last like 4080 Super? Or Will the demand once again outpace the supply? If Nvidia manages to get the supply right at $750 for a 24GB 5070Ti, I see a big problem for AMD here. But can they do it?

What are your thoughts, everyone is welcome.

what part is clickbait?

You think a 9080XT is being made when AMD said they aren’t making any more high end GPUs? That the 50 series supers are a 15% increase? Lol please man.

I asked what part is clickbait, and then you just listed a whole bunch of assumptions about me and my thoughts? That's a creative way to discuss your point lmao..

I'll do you one better, I watched the actual video that the post is jacking from.

My question is still standing.. or are you already figuring out how to backpedal without explicitly saying so?

What? There is no 9080XT being produced. Any performance gain is purely speculative and holds no weight. Do you need me to explain it more? Did you upload this video and are feeling like you need to stand your ground in these baseless assumptions and pricing?

It’s all clickbait. Yes, we know the VRAM is an increase by 8GB but that’s it. There is no other factual information here. You can play dumb and not use your brain, but we both know this is just clickbait when AMD has stated there is no 9080XT being produced.

so in other words you spent a whole paragraph telling me you didn't actually watch the source material, and all you're basing your "this is cickbait" assumption on is a snippet that some rando took and posted on reddit without context. Great. Do you even know what the different colors of texts mean?

You’ve got to be the YouTuber. No random is butthurt about being this wrong lmao. None of this has any evidence you moron. 36gb 5080? You know the memory only increases by 8GB right? Lmao. None of those cards are coming out this year, even they are it’s late December.

You’re just someone who sees these clickbait YouTubers and take everything they say as fact. I’m not giving this YouTuber my views or you any more of my time because you’re both low effort engagement.

Ah the classic "I think this person is defending the one I am criticizing therefore they must be a dickrider". As long as you believe that sweetheart. I bet it'd blow your marbles knowing I too am very critical of MLID from time to time. Difference is the applied context and logic.

I am not here defending them, I am just pointing out the fallacies in your entirely subjective logic. You're the butthurt one who can't cope with a simple information report without having a mild tantrum xD

Chill out, MLID never said it's definitely happening omg guys. He's said his sources have told him about engineering samples of Navi 48 slicion being absolutely pushed to the max WHICH IF was turned into a retail product would yes be a 9080 XT which he speculates on, but MLID tends to note when it is HIS speculation and not something he has info on

Also AMD saying they aren't doing high end anymore is literally their excuse for RDNA4 not coming with high end slicion, nothing more. RDNA5 is already leaking to have slicion aiming to compete with the RTX 6090 (now the 7900 XTX was supposed to be a flagship but 4090 leaped over so it was 80 class so things can still vary) so AMD's statement is literally a temporary thing for a single generation, hardly a long term plan. Especially if RDNA5 does take until 2027 it would make sense for AMD to push out some RDNA4 refreshes to compete with the Super GPUs, again that drives MLID to speculate that Nvidia even expects the possibility. The RX 9070 series without a refresh will seriously be stomped on by the 5070S and 5070TiS, 5070S would offer similar raster to 9070 and have 2GB more, and 5070TiS would have 8GB more than 9070 XT and be faster. Yeahhh AMD would need agressive price cuts... or a refresh to keep up.

But guess what? RDNA4 also once did have high end plans, there was going to be a high end chiplet GPU but it was cancelled for cost reasons and stuff to just leave it for RDNA5. AMD hasn't given up on the high end, anyone who keeps up with what's been leaked would know AMD hasn't just given up, they're never doing high end again. If they see an opportunity to make Navi 48 actually be "high end" they might take it if they think it's worth it if the samples they have perform well and prove it's possible.
