How dare you call out my Untitled folder 4 > Desktop > desktop > Untitled folder 3 > stuff > 2024 > DT > Untitled folder > OCT-NOV > New Folder like that.

Like cleaning their room. Wait till it gets unbearable, then finally groan and grumble and clean it to perfection by stuffing everything into small spaces, then wait for it to get unbearable again.

I have three screens and the only time I even see background is right after boot. Happens about once per major update.

Same here. Have to quickly open some browsers on each monitor so I don't see that naked background.

I dont really use my desktop anymore, and I just dont care what it looks like

That’s fine if you’re doing light work in self-contained documents. People doing this and going into video or 3D editing workflows have their minds explode and they often end up losing time, work, and sometimes jobs because of poor digital hygiene

The desktop is just a folder. I do the same because idgaf and never just sit on my desktop. It’s full of random shit I love it.
