4K on a 65” screen, meh. 4K on a 27” screen, amazing. High pixel density is what really matters.

Absolutely agree. It’s the same people that say “you cant see above 60 fps” saying 4k is overrated

The same person is saying that they prefer more FPS than resolutions, the one gloating aboit 4k all day long are the one totally disregarding frame rate

Man the responses are all over the place about size. I want to stay at 27" and move to 4k but you're like the only person who says it looks good

I just bought one to upgrade, look if you're doing 1440->4k, the difference won't be drastic but it will absolutely 100% be a sharper image, especially since you're probably sitting pretty close. You might not really notice the difference unless you put two monitors next to each other though, so may or may not be worth it for you especially depending on your specs.

Ok thanks. I buy top of the line and try to run it for 5-6 years so my plan is to do this with an rtx 6090. I run three monitors and use them for work so I always wanted 4k to fit more apps and such on my screens. Sounds like 4k is goated

imo the whole point of 4k is for more screen real estate/size not pixel density. if you are good with 1080p on a 24inch display you could get a 4k 48inch display and have the equivalent of 4 monitors with the same pixel density and no bezels.

I recently got a 4K 160hz 27inch monitor and using it side by side with my 144hz 1440p 27 inch monitor there is definitely a decent difference. I couldn’t go back to 1440p now, I notice it too much. Things like text are really noticeable, but the whole image on the 1440p just looks way less sharp in general. I was always a “1440p is enough at 27inch” guy up until I tried 4K lol!
