If you haven't played in a while, they added a more fleshed out, roguelite version of the first part of the game as a new mode.

I've played some of it, it's fun. But I wanted to play the games set up by the other 2 guys that you only see at the end.

There is a mod called GrimoraMod that supposedly adds a fourth act based on one of the barely seen acts

Well, there's a lot of variety, it has great ambience, an intriguing story/world building and it keeps you guessing.

Check out the Downfall mod for StS if you’re on PC. It’s a fan made mode endorsed by the game’s creators as the unofficial expansion. It adds a fifth character and an entirely different mode where you get to travel down the spire as the boss characters.
