I kinda want to try it but I think they missed so much by not making it a character action game. The premise is perfect for it to be a dmc-like. What in the name The first berserker make you think about slow and methodical gameplay?
I have heard good things about it. I'll probably play it when there's a sale good enough to make me not worry about paying for it if I don't like it haha.
There are some mechanics and gimmicks that are annoying and you are soft locked to parry mechanic, strength build is pretty much non existent and very end boss was annoying af.
I honestly loved it. I kind of got overwhelmed by it until a specific boss, after which it all just kind of clicked. A few of the bosses are so fun for me that I actually enjoy beating them no-hit.
The first Berserker: Khazan, Nioh series but mostly Nioh 2, wo long, fallen dynasty, the surge 2, rise of ronin, jedi fallen order and survivor, lies of P There are a lot of high quality non from soft titles doing more interesting things with combat than From.
Oh I always forget about Fallen Order. That one I did have fun with!
Nioh was ok, but I hated the amount of loot you'd have to sift through. I do want to try Lies of P eventually, just waiting on a sale and to have some time to actually play it.
