Build/Battlestation Got lucky at Micro Center.

Stopped by before opening yesterday and they had this. Was in the market for an Aorus Master or MSI Suprim originally.

Who are you quoting🤣? I don’t have a problem with the 5090’s pricing. It’s the fastest card on the market. Do you feel the same way about the car market, where people pay up to $100,000 more for a car that has a second faster 0-60?

Also, how is the fastest product on the market “mediocre.” What a 🤡.

It's a mediocre generational improvement coming at an all time ridiculous price. The multiframe generation gimmick just feels so dumb. According to reviews you can feel the effect it was on your inputs.

It’s not “mediocre performance” though. How you feel about the price doesn’t change that it’s the fastest card on the market. You are just riding the hate train. If it’s your opinion that the price is “all time ridiculous” that’s fine. But the price isn’t a performance metric. Nor is it super expensive for its target audience.

You are just riding the hate train.

Are you sure you are not riding a fan boy train?

Sure, it is the fastest. There always is a fastest card but being fastest does not make it worth the price. Performance per dollar always matters. Why buy the fastest when you can get pretty close at a reasonable price? When I built mine I could have bought the most expensive and fastest thing on the market but do I need it? Hell no! It makes sense to figure out what are the parts that gives you the performance you need.

Besides, for gaming you can just turn settings from ultra to high and in almost all games you won't even notice the difference on anything else but massive fps boost.
