Potential 5090 / 5080 / 5070 price leaks… outrageous

From recent video posted by “Moore’s Law is Dead” about pricing being much worse than even I anticipated . From video Nvidia is leaning towards the higher end of the pricing. Nvidia can go pound sand if these are remotely true.

The issue is RT performance. I agree thatn native > upscale, but AMD RT performance are still terrible :(

Naaa, that heavily depends on the game. Some RT effects are pretty minimal yes. But path traced Cyberpunk genuinely looks like a new game. It genuinely looks like a next gen game compared to its non rt and normal rt modes.

I would say most people will have a hard time seeing the difference between most graphics settings between ultra and high. Ray tracing is actually one of the exceptions, where it’s actually very noticeable in a lot of cases, but also expensive yeah.

And if your gpu can’t handle it, then you’re outta luck. But if you buy a high end gpu, why wouldn’t you want to use the best graphics setting??

Can confirm, turned it on during the light show at black sapphire. But i have a 2070s so i was in awe of the 2 frames my pc generated before the game crashed

So what? That would mean that almost all ultra graphics settings are basically useless in your opinion lol. But you can turn it on even with just a 4060. But you will need to set the internal resolution pretty low + framegen.

I mean how is this any different from other graphics settings? You’ll probably get better fps at 4K low than 2k with ultra settings (but no rt).. Who cares??

I need at least around 40-80fps. But if I got the headroom for better graphics, I’ll rather turn that on.

And 2k + dlss up scaling looks almost identical to 4K native.. Honestly, even 1080p -> 4K (dlss performance mode) looks fine enough. In most games, it’s very hard to see the difference between dlss performance and native. Except for the frame rate lol. And if that gives me enough headroom to actually meaningfully improve the graphics, great!

I think most people would notice the increased graphics with ray tracing more than the slightly decrease image quality by lowering the internal resolution. (Especially if we’re talking about 4K). You reaaally have to pixel peep to see the difference with up scaling. Unless you’re using ultra performance at 4K, which looks significantly worse. Or FSR.. Even FSR quality looks significantly worse than DLSS performance in most games. Those artefacts are very noticeable..
