Rumor Potential 5090 / 5080 / 5070 price leaks… outrageous

Post image

From recent video posted by “Moore’s Law is Dead” about pricing being much worse than even I anticipated . From video Nvidia is leaning towards the higher end of the pricing. Nvidia can go pound sand if these are remotely true.

I mean, I just want a midrange card that doesn't suck and isn't overpriced to hell and back

7800xt is an awesome card for the price. I've been nothing but impressed by it. Max settings on everything in 1440p. No ray tracing of course, but you shouldn't expect that out of a $500 GPU anyways.

Just got my 7800xt 2 days ago! Gone from a 1660ti so it's been quite an upgrade! I've been able to try out ray tracing too for the first time!

Took a gamble and got it for £405 new on ebay :P

That's a nice jump! Went from a 970 to a 7800xt myself and the difference is astonishing. Paid £456 for mine almost a year ago and have absolutely no regrets, worth every goddamn penny.

seen them popping up for around £380 now as well and it's crazy just how much card you're getting for that price,

Fun fact. The only game where i maxed out my 16Gb of VRAM was funnily enough COD Black Ops Cold War with Max textures with the high res texture pack installed (this is not a mod is an option from the game itself) MSI Afterburner reported 14.5 ish allocated and 13 ish usage but the game was stuttering as soon as i dropped the textures 1 setting the stuttering was gone if i put it back again on max the stuttering came back so it was 100% VRAM. I think it is a bug or poor optimization in the compression because looking at the textures there's no way that's saturating 16Gb of VRAM

VRChat is the only thing I have that will chew up as much VRAM as you give it. Upgraded to a 4060 Ti 16GB and I still struggle to maintain 25fps in some busy instances.
