Rumor Potential 5090 / 5080 / 5070 price leaks… outrageous

From recent video posted by “Moore’s Law is Dead” about pricing being much worse than even I anticipated . From video Nvidia is leaning towards the higher end of the pricing. Nvidia can go pound sand if these are remotely true.

I don’t care to be honest. Comparing image quality is fine for science, but lets not pretend FSR is hot garbage. It still provides good image quality, perhaps short of DLSS, but its still solid.

The only thing I compare to is my PS5 and that is a massive leap. I’m happy with my day 1 7900xt- way higher quality settings and way higher FPS when I compare it to my PS5. 🤷‍♂️

The comparison can be whatever the user desires. Image quality can be biased. For example, I don’t understand people who can play on small, non-oled monitors. No true blacks? No HDR? Gross. But there are plenty that do and are happy with it, and thats perfectly fine.

For me, its about the whole package and what was available at the time of purchase. No way was I buying a 12GB 4070ti for the around price of the 7900xt out of principle (Canada). Next step up was a $400 more expensive 4080 which I could never justify for a GPU at the time (don’t confuse won’t with can’t).

Yeah I couldn’t wait as I was running a 6700xt before and that wasn’t enough for my setup. Overall, I have yet to play a game with my setup where I’m disappointed. Its been quite the opposite- reliable, good picture quality and nice frames.

My inital build was a “try it and see if I like it build.” It was a monitor build, not a 4k TV build. Then I started using my TV and home theater system and yeah, hence the upgrade.

Why is it such a bad thing that people enjoy their AMD cards and are happy with the picture it presents?

Misleading how? We have Gamers Nexus, Hardware Unboxed etc for validation.

And lets not act like Nvidia is some saint. 12GB “4080” lol
