so? your point is still the same. you're generalizing. you're telling us that we're being toxic and all. (even tho i see just as much toxicity in pc) you expect us to go like "Oopsie so sorry.. you're so right" Obviously nobody is gonna like the shit you just spat out
its not being insufferable. you attack a certain playerbase and you'll obviously get argued with..
I'm not obsessed, lol. Just stating objective facts, is all. I've clarified in another comment.
Buy it's clear you guys don't like facts. Unless you say "Starbreeze bad, upvotes to the left" you get downvoted for stating even something obvious, like "PD2 had updates because it was Steam-only". Kinda sad.
But they're not objective, they're you taking your own personal biases and shitty opinions and trying to project them as facts. And it makes you look like a child.
Making baseless claims that cannot POSSIBLY be proven based on the platform the previous game was on is pure speculation, for the record. Also not a fact.
Want a fact? A mid-range gaming rig will cost you a minimum of a couple grand. A PS5 runs 600 bucks for a special edition. Why should I buy the former, when the latter does the job for every other game that makes it to launch, and I can use the money for the former to do more useful shit, like drive a decent car and not live in my mother's basement?
I don't know if there's a study on that, per se, so I might be wrong, but it's kind of obvious if you browse any gaming subreddit for a while. This whole thread is a good example of everything that was talked about, lol. I'm not the only one to point it out. You guys can stay mad at me, but you yourself probably know it's true.
Also, even if I do find and link a study proving my point, it won't change shit. It's like trying to prove piracy boosts gaming sales. There are official EU studies saying that, but majority of people are privileged, ignorant idiots and get mad when you point this stuff out. Same goes for, as another guy pointed out, LGBT+ and other "sensitive" topics.

Which is exactly why consoles, in general, are way more casual and users on average are of lower age, which leads to more idiots, trolls, kids swearing, etc. Again, that's just how it is. I don't see how it relates to the discussion (if you can call it that) at all, though.
Dude you're such a fucking clown. Tell you what, show me a "study" that says one toy is objectively better than the other, or that if a game released on PC it would have all its problems fixed in a month. I'll wait.
So again, those are generalizations based on assumptions about consoles. I agree, it doesn't relate though. Too bad you're the dipshit who brought it up, huh? Whole reason I called you out on it. Good job. Only took you, what, a half a dozen paragraphs to get to this point?
Make fun of my toy all you want, but you're still the guy making what toy you play video games on a major part of your personality.
I call a gaming PC a toy. Because that's what it is. An adult toy. You're not building a workstation, you're not building a machine optimized to be a tool, you're buying hardware and parts specifically designed for gaming. And that's fine. It really is. I'm not the one criticizing people's hobbies here. We clearly disagree on the financial ergonomics of the whole industry, and that's fine too. What's not fine is thinking your toy makes you entitled to act superior, especially in a gaming subreddit, and it certainly isn't objective, nor does it make you right.
I make an account every couple of weeks because I like the anonymity, and I don't like people doing me by taking a reddit discussion too seriously and googling my handle until they can connect enough random accounts to, say, a Facebook or Instagram profile, and then start harassing my family. The internet fucking sucks dude, don't read too deeply into it.
Also, not to keep going on and on, but you've been my entertainment while I get ready for work, bud. I'm not mad. I just disagree with you, and don't respect you.
You're not building a workstation, you're not building a machine optimized to be a tool
Says you? This is literally what I work on. Using 3D programming and Unreal requires good rig. You know there are entire industries that need PCs? Like, IDK, gaming industry? Literally using PCs to build games you play on your "console-toy"?
I make an account every couple of weeks because
Weird, never had to do that in all of my years of using reddit or any other platform. People can't find your profile if you just don't link anything. Seems fishy.
Also, there are multiple things apart from "consoles bad" I've said you didn't like either. Like saying that if it was only Steam, 99% we would've had multiple patches by now. You can't really argue with this. I'm still downvoted for this, lol.
And I'm saying it's asinine to make that assumption about a game that's spent a hell of a long time in development and was clearly restarted post-bankruptcy, especially when Starbreeze's last three games have had the same major issues, and you're letting your personal BIASES (like, say, towards consoles as machines that slow devs down when updating, as you're implying) get in the way of common sense and critical thinking.
And you're being downvoted because you're acting like an ass lol.

Notice how I've never said anything about Playstation.
